Labs and Exams

Time and Place: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9:30-10:50, 1015 ECEB

Collaboration Policy

Labs may be written in groups of one, two, or three students. Each group should work independently of every other. Only one of the three should submit the assignment. The assignment should list all authors.

Different groups should not work together. You will lose points if any part of your code or text is identical to that of any other group, or identical to any source on line. Exception: you may download and use code from any on-line source as long as it doesn't cause any important part of the signal processing or machine learning exercise to become trivial. If you are not sure, ask us.

Late Homework and Conflict Exams

Late homework is accepted, up to seven days late, with a 10% per day penalty. This is a multiplicative penalty, i.e., one day late receives up to 90%, two days can get up to 81%, three days can get up to 72.9%, and so on. Homework more than seven days late will not be accepted.

Homework extensions are not given for any reason of any kind, ever. For this reason we strongly advise you to plan to submit your homework early; that way, if a disaster occurs, you will be able to cope.

Conflict exams will be available if you have another exam or an emergency.
